Does ToolsPix upload my images to a server?
No. All resizing happens locally in your web browser using the Canvas API. Your images are never sent to any server and nothing is stored or logged.
What does "lock aspect ratio" mean?
When aspect ratio is locked, changing the width will automatically adjust the height to keep the same proportions, and vice versa. This prevents images from looking stretched or squished. Unlock it if you need exact custom dimensions.
Can I resize multiple images at once?
Yes. Drop multiple images at once and the same resize settings will be applied to all of them. Each image can then be downloaded individually or all at once.
Will resizing reduce image quality?
Enlarging an image beyond its original size will reduce sharpness — this is a fundamental limitation of raster images. Reducing size generally maintains good quality. For best results when enlarging, keep the scale below 150%.
Is there a file size or number limit?
There are no hard limits. Since resizing runs in your browser, very large files or many images at once may be slower depending on your device's memory.
