Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't collect personal data, we don't run trackers, and your files never leave your browser.

Last updated: April 27, 2026

The short version

ToolsPix runs entirely in your browser. Files you upload to a tool (PDFs, images, JSON, etc.) are processed locally using JavaScript. They are never sent to our server. We don't have an account system, we don't use analytics SDKs that track you across the web, and we don't sell anything to anyone.

What we don't collect

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers.
  • We do not require accounts or sign-ups.
  • We do not run third-party advertising trackers (no Google Ads pixel, no Facebook pixel, no retargeting).
  • We do not store any files you process. Your data stays in your browser memory and is discarded when you close the tab.

What we do collect

Like nearly every website on the internet, our server software automatically logs basic technical information when you visit. This is necessary to keep the site running and to detect abuse:

  • Server access logs kept by Nginx and Cloudflare, including: IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp, requested URL, and HTTP status code.
  • These logs are retained for a short period (typically up to 30 days for our origin server; Cloudflare's retention is governed by their own policy) and used only for debugging, security, and abuse prevention.
  • We do not link IP addresses to identities, do not build behavioral profiles, and do not share logs with third parties except where legally required.

Cookies

ToolsPix does not set tracking cookies. Some tools may use localStorage in your browser to remember your preferences (for example: your last-used indent size in a code formatter). This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Cloudflare may set technical cookies (such as __cf_bm) for bot mitigation. These are first-party security cookies and do not track you across sites.

Third-party services

ToolsPix uses two third-party services:

  • Cloudflare — for CDN, DNS, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare sees the same request metadata as our server. Their privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Google Fonts — for serving the DM Sans and Space Mono web fonts. Your browser fetches these fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google's font delivery is governed by their privacy policy.

Children's privacy

ToolsPix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The current version is always available at this URL.
